Nick Wier’s career in the oilfield began in 2004, starting as a roughneck and advancing through various roles, including derrickman and driller. In 2010, he transitioned into the mudlogging field with MCWL Paladin, where he honed his skills while chasing drilling rigs across the U.S. Over the next decade, Nick’s leadership abilities grew, ultimately leading to his role as Director of Mudlogging Operations in 2020. By 2022, he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer, where he oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates field personnel, and ensures the smooth running of administrative duties.
